The Making of Cashmere Bed-socks

The Making of Cashmere Bed-Socks

Our cashmere bed-socks are one of our best-sellers and they make the perfect present for a loved one or just to treat yourself! They’re knitted on a 60 year old tubular machine, hand cut and then taken to the linking department where the toe seam is stitched together on a linking machine. This was one technique I really failed to master at University as you have to really ‘get your eye in’ , and it involves putting each stitch onto a needle one by one at speed! Once linked the socks are then washed, quality checked and pressed ready to be sent to our stockists such as Fortnum & Mason, or to our warehouse!

We shot this video with the extremely talented Ryan Daglish of Northport Studio. We loved working with him and also the beautiful Erin from Colours , as well as of course darling Daphne who loved being a model for the day!

Autumn/Winter 2015 film

Welcome to AW15! We’re excited to reveal our new film which was shot on location in and around North Berwick by the very talented Tom Duncan. We’ve some exciting new additions to the collection this year including our brand new turban, infinity scarf , and new tiger and heart intarsia patterns. Our accessories line combines Rosie’s idiosyncratic take on contemporary design with the inherent natural beauty of Scottish Cashmere, brought out through extraordinary craftsmanship. All our products are made from 2ply woollen spun Scottish yarn and made in a family run mill nestled in the rolling hills of the Scottish Borders. We hope you love the collection and enjoy the film!
