We recently hopped over the channel to attend Paris Fashion week! This year we were so excited to exhibit at Tranoi show at Carrousel Du Louvre.
I set off bright and early from St Pancras international with my suitcase(s) in tow, and a few hours later arrived into sunny Paris.
Once I had set up the stand I had the remainder of the afternoon to explore Paris and find our Air B&B. This year I shared and apartment with my friend Karen Mabon. We stayed in a gorgeous little apartment very close to a charming street called Rue des petits Carreaux. We were spoilt for choice with boulangeries, florists, cafes and restaurants. We were also very close to the Marais, and within 15 minutes walk of Jardin des Tuileries, so I would definitely recommend this little spot as a great place to stay in Paris.Temptation everywhere!!Below: My morning commute wasn’t so bad…!
Once the show started I was so excited to finally be there, after months of planning and build up it’s really such a great feeling to show the buyers what I’ve been working on for the past 6 months.I was lucky enough to have a sales assistant with me in the form of my Brother, John! We were so excited to meet some new buyers ranging from small boutiques to larger stores. Here are some details from our stand:
Sneak peak below at some of our new AW15 Colours and styles. Thank you to Paul Alger and the whole team at UKFT for your continuing support and advice!
One of the best things about being in Paris for 5 days is that every evening you eat ,and drink, so well! I definitely had more than my fair share of croissants, baguettes, fromage, vin rouge and frites!
That’s a wrap! Me outside Tranoi with my monster suitcase. Thank you to everyone who came to see us and so excited for AW15!!
